This original painting is part of my ongoing Reclaimed Icons series, which revisits objects of mass consumption — items that once symbolized comfort, speed, and familiarity — now reimagined as quiet relics of contemporary life.

In Pressed Taste, a crushed Coca-Cola cup becomes a still life of our daily rituals. Its folds and reflections preserve the memory of a brief, ordinary moment — painted with the patience and care that the original object never received.
