his original oil painting is part of my Reclaimed Icons series, a body of work focused on objects of mass culture and their transformation through everyday use.

The iconic Coca-Cola glass is depicted partially filled, suspended between consumption and absence. No longer a symbol of advertising or mass production, it becomes a record of a simple human gesture: drinking, pausing, sharing a moment.

Unlike the crushed cans that appear in other works of the series, the glass remains intact. Yet it still carries traces of human presence. The remaining liquid, the reflections on the surface, and the level left in the glass all suggest a story already unfolding.

Through this familiar object, the painting reflects on how ordinary items absorb memory and experience. What begins as a mass-produced symbol becomes something personal, shaped by routine, time, and use.
